no distance left to run
by: blur
it’s over
you don’t need to tell me
i hope you’re with someone who makes you
feel safe in your sleeping tonight
i won’t kill myself, trying to stay in your life
i got no distance left to run
when you see me
please turn your back and walk away
i don’t want to see you
cos i know the dreams that you keep is wearing me
when your coming down, think of me here
i got no distance left to run
it’s over, I knew it would end this way
i hope you’re with someone who makes you feel
that this life is the night
and it settles down, stays around
spends more time with you
i got no distance left to run
"to the end
by: blur"
all those dirty words
they make us look so dumb
we’ve been drinking far too much
and neither of us mean what we say
(chorus)
well you and i
collapsed in love
and it looks like we might have made it
yes, it looks like we’ve made it to the end
what happened to us?
soon it will be gone forever
infatuated only with ourselves
and neither of us can think straight anymore
A documentary film about Blur, accompanied by a live recording of their performance at Hyde Park is due for release on DVD, through Parlophone Records on February 15, 2010. The film finds Graham Coxon, Damon Albarn, Alex James and Dave Rowntree set to perform together for the first time in nine years. Intimate new interviews recount the highs and lows of Blur: from Colchester to Goldsmiths, throughout the heady Britpop years and the band’s headline return at Glastonbury and Hyde Park. Perfect, but why that fast? They suppose to be forever!
